Materialism
In a city in Saheria, a kindergarten teacher was giving a lesson to her young pupils, she was asking them about their future ambitions, many said things like doctors, engineers, lawyers and pilots until it came to Musa’s turn, he was a vibrant child and he was very smart, so, she was expecting something amazing from him, well, Musa never disappoints.
“I want to be an international businessman when I grow up so that i can travel to the UK, US, China and other countries, I will build beautiful houses, buy the best cars and ….. he didn’t get to finish because the teacher was already shocked, she made the little guy sit down, then she gave the whole class a lecture on how bad materialism was, and how they should thrive for hard work and honesty, satisfied with what she just did, she looked at the gentlest and cutest little girl in the class, she asked her to stand up.
“What about you Binta, what would you like to be when you grow up”? she watched her hopefully.
“Musa’s wife” the little girl answered quietly.
Legend has it the teacher is still speechless.
